Web Site Up

I am thrilled with my first web site!  Louise Preston did a great job and while I hadn't a clue what I wanted, I can say she gave me exactly what I wanted .  She's a true artist and graphic designer.  You can find her link on my links page.

Part of the point of this blog is to tell you about the 'What's New' page.  The two photos are of a new style I'm doing using the bark of the mammoth tusk as a back ground for the fine carvings, adding inspired elements as compliments. I think of my work as telling stories and this new direction gives me another avenue to tell them in a more casual and funkier manner.  I still do my more formal necklaces as well.

The other news is that I've finished the second draft of my book (see the Writing page on the web site) and am looking for a literary agent. If any of you have any connections I would appreciate hearing about them. It's a little overwhelming going through the Internet lists of agents. The theme of Alzheimer's, love, courage, life in Bali, and travel makes for a good read.
